I bought this milk today, brand new 1 gallon! and it said the experation date on it is on may 21, 2003!

So when I tasted the milk, it tasted very bad, like plastic, or it was like old or something.

And now I think I got mad cow disease from the milk.

Do a search on Mad Cow disease, and you will suprised, what America feeds the cows!

I think my Anxiety, turned into a Paranoa!

Just...

To set your mind at ease...I would encourage you to go to the CDC (Center for Disease Control) website. There has been no case of Mad Cow Disease found in animals in the United States. There has only been one individual in the United States that was infected by this disease back in between 1995 and 2002. The individual that was diagnosed with it had resided in Europe during the outbreak of Mad Cow Disease and it was determined that infection occurred during the individuals stay there.

There is no evidence that Mad Cow Disease is spread through milk or milk products. All reports have indicated that the spread of the illness, in humans, is related to consumption of beef.

In as much as the United States does not import cattle from Europe and no cases of this disease have been found in American cattle...you can set your concerns aside.

Hope this helps,

Thank you so much for your support!

I just dont know, I just have a horrible paranoa, sometimes I think dead people are after me...

When I tell my psychiatrist, about my paranoa stuff, he would say "Anyways" and jump into conversations, he wants to discuss!

Pisses me off so much! I am actually waiting a new appointment date with another new psychiatrist, to discuss my paranoa!

I am glad to hear that you are going to seek out a new psychiatrist. It doesn't sound as if your current one is taking any of this seriously. I wish you all the best and hope that you find the help you need with this new doctor.

Take care of you,

I think dead people already have alot of company, Just-a-boy! I don't think they want you. I'm more afraid of the living...they can do alot more harm sometimes...

Yes, I think your psychiatrist has an attitude problem. He is forgetting that you (your parents, insurance, whatever) PAY him! He's not doing you any favors by wasting your money(and time) on his chit-chat. Glad you are dumping him. I think psychologists pay a little more attention to such problems instead of psychiatrists, who are mainly just human drug dispenser machines(kind of like a gumball machine or Pez candy). Yep, I think if you were to tilt his head back a little, a prozac may pop out of his neck!

At least it seems that way these days.

Anyway, I notice you are always afraid something terrible is going to happen to you. I think this is fairly normal to some degree; I mean, look around, lots of people have terrible tragedy befall them or are always struggling for this or that. Crime rates are high, drug use, etc. Accidents, illness, injury, crime, pollution, poisons, disease, etc. are a fact of life. But have you also noticed many old people, who have survived life quite well and stayed in one piece...and who are actually happy too? Some people go an ENTIRE lifetime without major illness, or being severely hurt or disabled, or poisoned in anyway. Lots of people never become victims of crime in their life.

So why assume some horrible fate is in your future, Just-A-Boy? You may end up living a long, healthy life despite yourself! Nobody knows their future. Instead of worrying, just always take every precaution (in other words, be a sensible, cautious person) to avoid such things as crime, illness, etc. I know we can't control everything, but we do have some power in determining our own destiny...so use it and relax a bit more, ok? You have more power than you think...

Thanks everyone, and Thank YOU Jennita for your input!

You guys see that, I tried everything...

I take Vitamins/Minerals, I go to 24hr fitness, I eat healthy, and I dont drink pop, and I drink green tea, and kava kava, and the valerian root with passion flower.

Yes they have taken 60% of my anxiety away, but I have paranoa, and it drives me crazy.

What should I do?

Get on Seroquel?

Just,

Only your doctor can determine if Seroquel would be right for you. It sounds as if it would be of benefit to you to go see your doctor and discuss your concerns with him/her.

Sorry I couldn't offer you more,

Hi Boy, You know, your messages have brought so many smiles to my face. I know you're serious but sometimes you just kill me. You're too young to know so much! :-) Okay, wipe off that mad-cow-milk-mustache and see if this helps. Always keep bringing yourself back to the same questions: 1. If this fear is real, what's the worst that could happen? 2. If the worst did indeed happen, what would I have to do to take care of it? So if you drink bad milk and think you have a disease, what's the worst that could happen? Well, you could get very sick or even die. So what would you have to do to take care of it? Well, if symptoms of that disease would happen to arise, go to the hospital immediately and get medical attention to take care of it. Done. If you're worried about something, simply mentally prepare yourself for whatever might happen and how you would take care of it. No matter what life throws at you, you just take care of it. Next, if dead people are trying to get you what's the worst that could happen? Well, if they wanted to hurt you, seeing that they're dead I'd think you've got a pretty good chance at kicking their ass in a fight. How would you prepare for it? Sounds like you're in pretty good physical shape so you're already ready to take em' on if the need be. What if they only wanted to talk to you ala "The Sixth Sense"? Well, then after they chased and caught you simply listen to what they have to say and take it from there. Also, reason with yourself like "When in the history of the world has anybody been chased down and gotten by dead people?" Since it's never happened the odds are in your favor that it won't happen to you, but if it did, you'd just deal with it because you're prepared for it. Let your motto be: Just roll with it. Or how about Elvis' famous "TCB" with the lightning bolt symbol, "taking care of business". Whatever comes along, you'll take care of and deal with it. You're already doing this in the way you've taken the matter of your health in your own hands. You are going to be just fine. No matter what problems may arise in your life- health, financial, family, you'll face them head-on and do what you've got to do to resolve it. That's the best that anyone can do. Okay kid, the next time you have a case of the "what if's" just talk yourself through the whole possible scenerio and you'll be mentally prepared for whatever comes your way. Problems really seem less scary when you're prepared to conquer them with the "what's the worst that could happen and what would I have to do to take care of it" plan. Cyber hugs to you! Linda

That's good advice from Linda! That sort of logical approach makes sense...I used to worry when my husband started traveling about being in the house alone with children. But I stopped and thought a moment...what are the odds some unknown person would be watching our house everyday and night, just waiting for him to leave? Also, I have well-locked windows, live in a well-populated area and two dogs. So I relaxed...guess what? Nobody ever broke in. Now, I could have been a nervous wreck for years for no good reason instead.

Just-a-Boy, sounds like you have done everything right...but haven't really given yourself credit for being such a strong person!

Just-A-Boy, have you ever had a hair mineral analysis test done to check for possible heavy metal toxicities you might have? I have read several places that copper excess is a main cause of schizophrenia. I'm not saying you have this problem but many toxicities in the body like too much copper, lead, mercury etc. can cause anxiety disorders.

Just a thought...

Thanks for the advices!

Thank you so much!

My doctors just ignore me, I've asked them to check my hormones, and minerals they said I was fine, and I have serotonin deficiency http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/frown.gif! YAH SURE!

SO suddenly for the past 50 yrs, people been having serotonin deficiency, ya lose a job, ya get in trouble, ya do anything negative this days, seem to cause serotonin deficiency! but it doesnt! READ PROZAC BACKLASH! clearly states there is not a proven fact that serotonin deficiency exists, its unproven theory!

Be sides that, THANK YOU AGAIN!

I am gonna see my psychiatrist this monday and state him, that I HAD ENOUGH! ANXIETY IS NOT AN ILLNESS, ITS CAUSED BY AN ILLNESS, and THAT I AM CONCERNED PATIENT, AND CONCERNED PATIONT, MEANS THAT I CARE!
I AM A FIGHTER, AND I AM HERE TO STATE MY CONCERNS, AND GET THE ANSWERS THAT I NEEEEEEEEEEEEED! http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif

THANK YOU ONCE AGAIN! http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif

Good for you! I have to agree with you on the serotonin deficiency. Even if the condition does exists, it is not everyones problem, I am sure. But the drs. use that as a easy way out. Less work for them I guess. http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif
