Great question to compare.

$130 to $180 per hour
I pay $40 out of pocket every visit.
I supposedly have good insurance.

I paid $90 when I had no insurance.

There is a resident hospital where these new graduates will see you for $30/ hour
I might try them now that I am going to loose insurance again

It does help, but only to a point.
You also need friends and other support which I do not have.

Hi,
I go to a neuro psychologist and he charges about 150.00 a visit. With my inusurance i pay 20.00 copay. Although i have to call the insurance and get approval for a period of time. Like i get 6 visits approved until December. Then i suppose i have to get approval again for another period of time. I have seen him 4 times so far and i go probably ...well that is he wants to see me i think like one too two times a month. Take care.

If $ is an issue, you can always look for some of the clinics that offer treatment on a sliding scale, dependent on your income. I've been to both Catholic Family Services and Lutheran Family Services, but I know there are others out there that aren't affiliated with any religion. When I didn't have a job they charged me $5 per visit. And I found the therapists to be very helpful, and just as useful as some of the more expensive therapists/pychcologists/psychiatrists I've been to.
