Hi. I am totally new here. I was diagnosed with anxiety disorder about 2 months ago, although my guess is I've been suffering with it for about 3 years. I have been taking Zoloft for about 6 weeks. I started at 50mg but was quickly moved up to 100mg and now 150mg. I also take .5 Xanax as needed. My question, though, is this: how do I know the Zoloft is working? For example, I feel better now than I did when I first started taking it, BUT BEFORE I ever took it I would have bad periods, ok periods, and sometimes go months ata atime without having any symptoms. The Zoloft has not made my symptoms completely disappear. So how do I know if it's working or if I'm just the same as before? Thanks in advance for your advice.

Hi,
if you are taking zoloft for stress, anxiety or panic attacks you may need to place yourself in a situation where these things would usually happen

sometimes a burst of rapid shallow panting with the muscles tensed will bring on anxiety or panic

theres about a 30% chance the zoloft wont work
