A couple of months ago, I watched Good Morning America and learned that this lady had died because she developed a blood clot while flying. The problem is, she probably didn't stretch her legs enough while she was sitting on the airplane. Since this is the time of the year where a lot of people will tavel, I've decided to leave this link that discusses travel and blood clots (in this article, it also mentions what you can do to try and prevent blood clots from forming): http://mc10.metacrawler.com/crawler?ct&pos=5&tot=84&sid=77991841mc10_16_18&eng=Infoseek&q=traveling+%2Bblood+clot&to=http://www.onhealth.com/conditions/in-depth/item/item%2C38084_1 _1.asp My family and I plan to drive to Texas for Christmas, and I don't won't to develop a clot again, or have another stroke. We will stop every hour for me to get up and stretch my legs and use the bathroom (since my kidneys failed after my stroke).
