Is it possible to have suffered from a stroke and still experience daily headaches (neverending, literally constant ones) for years?

I believe I had a stroke about 1.5 years ago and i still experience them.

Definately is, I had a TIA on April 11th of this year which was ongoing for a week accompanied with a severe headache. After I was started on medications, I continued to have headaches daily. Now I still have daily headaches. I was given Depakote this past week as one of my treatments for this, and it only minimizes my headaches....I still have them. I was sent home from the hospital this past Thursday and the only explanation they can come up with is I am suffering from severe anxiety and depression, from which I am taking Zoloft for now since my stroke. It helps with the depression, but not the stress. I have decided until I start seeing my psychologist that I am avoiding any confrontations with any situation that makes me feel out of control.
Good Luck! kimberly :)
