me and my bf have been together for over a year and have been sexually active for the whole time. in the past 2 months we havent been able to have sex as it has been very very painful for me to have him inside me. i heard that the pill could do this but i have been on the same pill for a year and a half. i just wondered if this has happened to anyone else and what to do about it

Where does the pain occur? I get ovarian cysts and that causes pain in my abdomen, well where the ovaries are.....and pain in the vagina could be from a yeast infection....when I get one I do NOT get the discharge or the itching, I just get a burning sensation during sex....and usually I get one from anitibiotics....
Can you give us a better explanation of your symptoms?

Do you get it on entry? Some girls get pain on entry because of thrush. Try canesten or live yoghurt. I know this sounds odd spreading live yoghurt on your bits but it can work to clear it up. Also you may be uptight about something..have you had recent stress that has caused you too "clamp up" when your boyfriend tries to penetrate?

I had the same problem. I eventually went to my Doctor because the pain started increasing. I had Endometriosis. It was growths on my uteran wall and the only solution for "ME" was a partial hysterectomy. Durning the surgury the Doctors discovered I also had the growths on one ovary, So at 36 yrs old I had my uteris and an ovary removed. Since I am 63 now I am sure the procedures for this have improved greatly, probably laser now. But if I were you I would go to the Doctor and get checked out. At least you will know what the problem is and you and your Doctor can discuss your options.
Good Luck to you devils angel

I am allergic to latex and cramp up horribly when we use latex condoms. Just a thought.
