Hi. I have been on the pill for the last two months, using it solely for birth control.
I have never had any problem with period pain until now.
My period was supposed to start tomorrow (based on what happened last month) only it started today. Is this common? I have had the worst pain ever today. I think it MUST be period pain.?? It feels like my ovaries are being twisted and stretched and pulled. It has been feeling like this for about 2 weeks only not almost as bad. Today I could hardly stand up straight. Previously, there was only pain when I stretched too much or when lying on my stomach. I saw the doctor for this just yesterday and she said to wait and see what happens, without even doing any tests!
I was wondering how likely it is to be caused by the pill. I thought that the pill was commonly prescribed to people suffering period pain to stop it, not cause it.
I have also been dizzy, having headaches, tender breasts, fatigue, and other symptoms that are related to pregnancy, but I know that I am not pregnant as I have had blood tests, HPT, periods, and have been feeling this way almost since the day I started the pill. And I hadn't had sex until 1 month of taking the pill.
I have told my doctor all of this SEVERAL times. I think she is just sick of me worrying what could be wrong. She said it is NOT from the pill so I should keep taking it. But if it isn't the pill I don't know what is wrong with me.
Please help. I know I haven't really asked any questions, but would appreciate any advice and opinions.
Thanks anyone who bothers reading to the end. :)

Its very common to get your period a couple days off when your on the pill, nothing can regulate it that much. I cant stress this enough YOU NEED TO GET A SECOND OPINION!! I dont think your symptoms sound like symptoms yould be getting from the pill!! Its sounds like something more serious, so go and see another doctor and make them run some tests and if they say everything is ok, just go off the pill for a couple months and see how that goes.
