I have another question. When is a woman's most fertile time? Is it right before her period, right after her period, or somewhere in the middle? Thanks for your help. :)

That varies from woman to woman and from cycle to cyle.
Some women(normally rare cases) can be fertile right before or right after their periods. The majority tend to be in the middle of THEIR cycles. Cycles vary from woman to woman so in the middle for one could be very different for another.
The best way to learn is to chart one's own cycles and of course reading the book Taking Charge Of Your Fertilty by Toni Weschler. By doing those one can learn one's own cycle and know when one should be fertile and when one might not be. Though even knowing that one still to beaware of other factors. Such as sperm can live up to 7 days inside the female body. Fertile times can chage due to stress, illness and so on.
