He recommended the birth control patch instead because he said that a lot of men might think it's strange having a woman wearing a ring in their vagina. Go figure. And, although I love the people to death, theyre not very open minded when it comes to birth control methods. I cant take pills. Havent been able to since I was 16 - even the simplest of pills like tylenol cause me to vomit all night. I know this sounds crude, but my fiance and I have bought the largest brand condom we can find and it's still too tight on him so we rarely use those. It's mostly the "pull out" method, which is hard on him. I love the idea of not taking a pill every day. You can go to their website and get a coupon for a free ring with your prescription. It a little more per month ($35 copay) but to me, it's worth it.
