Shattered Olecranon and Ulna Break

It's been seven weeks since I shattered my elbow(an Olecranon Fracture) into several pieces and broke my Ulna. I had a plate and eleven screws put in and the bone is now healing but my problem is getting my arm to straighten out. I'm supposed to start therapy and work on it at home. Has anyone had this type of break and fully recovered range of motion afterwards?

Unfortunately the joint betreen the ulna and the humerus is a perfect fit with the elbow extended, no room for any wiggle. Thus if there is any imperfection in the line up or anything imperfect in the surfaces you will lose some extention. Usually with time you gain something more. It may never be as perfect as it was but maybe it will. Either way you will hardly notice with the passage of time.
