| Re: osteoarthritis
I have ostioarthritis in my knees. Alittle over 2 years ago, I was limping because of the pain. I am interested in herbs, so I looked for a herb I could take that would help me. The one I settled on is Turmeric standardized to 95% curcumin. I have not limped in 2 years. The turmeric worked for my and there are no side affect as with all arthritis drugs. If you have any gall bladder trouble, you should not use it. The dosage is at least 1200 milligrams of curcumin, the active ingredient, per day. Vitaminshoppes is the cheapest place I found to buy it. I have no relationship with them. I buy my own turmeric there. Alternative herbs are devil's claw or feverfew. I haven't tried them but they are recommended by a herbalist I trust.
