Rheumatoid Arthiritis could be an allergic reaction.
I did not believe it. But I convinced a family member, diagnosed with RA, to try it. It has been several years since since they had to take the medication.
It turns out that I found a book at a bookstore called Arthiritis the allergy conection. In the book a Britsh doctor spoke of several things that were caused by allergic reactions, like acne, migraines, asthma and Rheumatioid Arthiritis.
The basic procedure to find out what it is that is causing the pain is going on an elimination diet. First you take a lacsitive and clean out the pipes. Then you eat things like white fish, carrots and a couple of other things that he spoke of that will not cause anyone a n allergic reaction. You do not eat or drink anything or eat anyting that could be suspect. (there is a place on the internet that gives the diet for free. the other site has the details.) After several days you will feel worse and after seven days you will feel a lot better.
Well guinea pig did it. While on the elimination diet, the pais got worse ( they stopped taking all the pills for the pain) day 3 they were really bad, day 6 again they were bad, day 7 to 8 there was no pain. On day 8 they started adding one thing to their diet per day. After several days they hit the first thing that gave them pain. They ate broccoli. It turns out they were deathly allergic to broccoli and a couple of other things. When you eat something bad you will know it because the pain will come back within 15 min to 30 min. Then you have to lay off the foods and go back to your basic diet plus what you have already cleared.
The hardest part of the diet is to learn the families of things, and what families are more likely to cause an allergic reaction. It changes depending on what the individual has been sensitized to. The book talks about, milk, some flours and several other things that have a higher possibility of causing trouble.
Now, when they go to a chinese restaurant they ask for the food without the broccoli and other offending foods. If the cook sneaks broccoli juice into the food or just pulls out the pieces after it's cooked the pain comes in 15 min. So they know there was broccoli in it.
Sounds incredible. But it's true. I am not selling anyting! The only reason I am telling the story is, I promised someone in an important place that if they could give us a hand with this problem, I would make sure I told as many people as I could. So, they helped -- And I'm tellin'!
