rif Inactive Join Date: Jul 2002 Posts: 116	ra? I had a large, painful swollen hot thing on my thigh 2 weeks ago. About 3 inches in diameter. A week after that I had the same thing on my wrist, with a smaller one below it, and another one on my palm. I went to the E.R. and had a lot of tests done. No results yet. Now I've got one on my elbow. These things are large (up to 3 inches, no smaller than 2 inches) red, hot, painful areas. Is this rheumatoid arthritis?
