 Does anyone know the name of this kind of arthritis?
My cousin Mike is 51 years old and when he was 12 he started being in severe pain and his legs would swell up and he felt like he was dying. He has a certain kind of arthritis that only happen to males and it only happens every other generation, so his 18 year old son Blake does not have it and thank God will never get it but when Blake gets married and when or if him and his wife ever have any sons they will get this horrid type of arthritis. It is so bad that he had to move from Oklahoma City to the state of Nevada, because of the humidity. Thank goodness he found a medicine that has to be administered though IV and it takes at least 2 hours or longer to give to him; he told my uncle(his dad)that he feels like he has died and gone to heaven. After 39 years of suffering from this arthritis he finally feels wonderful and in no more pain, or at least until it is time to administer more of this wonder drug.
If anyone has any imput on this type of arthritis or the medication plesae let me know.
