 Psoriatic Arthritis & Frozen Shoulder
Hi All,
I am a 28 yrs old female who was diognosed with Psoriatic Arthritis at the age of 15..... I am currently on Methetrexate Injections (20mg a week) which manage my arthritis very well.... I take Mobicox (15mg) as needed....
I recently fell of my horse and severed a ligament in my shoulder... which led to an open (vs arthroscopy) surgery on my shoulder....that was in Feb... I only have 50% of my motion back at this point.... the surgeon feels it a frozen shoulder.... I saw my rhematologist last week and he feels its the PA... he said frozen joints are common in people with PA and that I should have the joint "injected" to loosen it up.....
Has anyone out there had "frozen joints" from their PA?? If so, how did you handle it?? Do you recommend the "injection"?
Any info would really be appreciated.... Thanks in advance.
