two years ago I broke and dislocated my hip. Before that i was a long distance runner. I have not ran since it broke because my doctors have told me it will wear the cartalige too much. I have developed post traumatic arthritis also. Today I went on a two mile run just because I missed it soooo much. Is there any way that i can keep running without injuring my hip further. or is it impossible?
If you don't get answers here, try the injuries forum at runnersworld.com. I have gotten very good advice there. I don't know what to tell you about the hip, but I tend to think that where there is a will there is a way.
