Question Hip Pain

I am 50 and ever since I lifted this 40 or 50 lb. box at work I can't get rid of this burning pain in my left hip joint or muscle not sure. I have tried streaches, icy hot, exercise, and nothing helps to releive it. Any thoughts or suggestions please. Cindy

Cindy, you may have activated/created a "trigger point(s)" that is sending that pain to your hip. Suggest you do some research on this subject, & particularly recommend Clair Davies' book for self-treatment of this or any other pain you might have coming down the pike.

I have the same pain. I run. I don't lift. I have no idea where the pain came from. In addition to this, my feet hurt/crack everytime I walk and go up and down stairs.

Hi, I am pretty sure I found out what it is, it is called Piriformis Syndrome, I have another posting on The Ageing board, and a person replied to that gave me this information. You can look it up on the search bar of your internet. Good luck. Cindy
