 polymyalgia rheumatica
hi there, i was recently diagnossed with polymyalgia rheumatica. I am on prednisone total 14 mgm per day and am tapering dose every 3 weeks. The prednisone has relieved the pain and stiffness but I find I am so tired during the day. Feeling so tired was one reason I decided to go on prednisone. I checked with my rheumatoidologist and after having different blood tests done, she thought it might be that I am deconditioned.My medical doctor said it was from my body fighting off an infection. I know fatique is a symptom of this condition but I somehow thought the prednisone would help with this. Any advice would help. donna
