My legs have been hurting since nov. and lately they feel hot like the sun is shining on them and the muscles feel tight ...is this a symptomf RA which i do have or could it be soemthing else going on?

i have ra and my 1st symptoms which i ignored were a burning sensation in the feet. ra usually attacks the smallest joints first ie: the toes and the action causes a burning sensation. now in my case as i ignored all this for 2 years i have probs in my legs and hands as well. tell your doc you suspect it and get the blood test.if you catch it early it can be stopped in its tracks.good luck.

Actually I have RA ...recently diagnosed I just didn't know if that was a symptom of if maybe something ELSE was wrong LOL don't want that for sure!

My legs hurt also but the intermitent hot flashes in the legs and the tight muscles proved to be BLOOD CLOTS. The blood clots moved from my legs to my lungs and I almost died before they were detected. Get to a doctor quickly please and tell him to check for blood clots in your legs.

I think you really need to be evaluated by a RA Doctor --- Then you'll know.
THe problem is it could be sveral disorders that need looking at???
