I was looking for some glucosamine and chondroitin the other day, but didn't know what brand would be good. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Most any brand will serve the purpose, try to find one with the MSM included. The most important thing is to take them on a regular basis for maximun benefit

....MSM .... nobody told me about MSM, what is it? My bottle says it has magnesium stearate. Is that it? I believe in generics, so I just get a big bottle at Sam's Club. So much to learn!

can't agree that most any brand will serve the purpose.

studies done show quite a different between different brands and concentrations of glucosamine. not what they appear to be

search for a reputable brand.

I have been taking Glucosamine since '96.

Two brands have worked well for me: Now and Twin Labs

Swanson's did NOT work for me.

one product that worked for me was triple flex. nature made makes it and it hcontains glucosamine chondroitin and msm. its great!

according to the label...msm is methylsulfonylmethane...whatever that is!

I have been purchasing glucosamine chondroitin for my mother (the joints in her hands swell and hurt). I read in one of the postings that cod liver oil works also. Is this truly the case? If it is, I plan to suggest it to my mother also.
