left shoulder blade pain - Arthritis Message Board

I am a 59 year old male and for about three months now i have had pain in my left shoulder blade and in my neck and left arm.I have noticed that when i lean back in a chair etc and apply pressure on the shoulder blade the pain radiates through the left side of my chest and into an area located under the left breast area.I have been to a doctor and x-rays were taken of my cervical spine and the results were arthritis and two herniated discs.Recently i have been having bad headaches and if i turn my head to fast my vision goes white but last just a few seconds.Then after awhile my eyes gets this spot in the corner of my eyes that resembles heat waves like looking at heat when it comes off a hot object.This makes me nausiated and have to lay down.When i close my eyes i can still see like white circular rings with movement if that makes sense.After i rest for about a half hour it goes away.Can anyone help me with this matter? Sorry about your problems. Not fun. I suggest you have your doctor refer you to a Neuorologist ASAP. The head turn light show could be an indication that something is putting pressure on your spinal chord. You may need to get one of those herniated discs dealt with promptly. Different folks have different symptoms ie bowels release unexpectedly, light show, can't pee. The headaches could be an additional symptom.
