what are calcifications/phleboliths

what are these and can they cause pain. this is one of my many problems. artificial disc/l4-l5. pinched nerve in my neck and l5-s1.

anyone have problems with these calcifications. how do you fix them or know that they are the problem. they are in my hip/pelvis area. jason
