Question Anyone take Mobic and notice vision problems

Hi,
I am 44, have osteoarthritis, and have been taking Mobic for about 6 months. Just recently I am having trouble seeing at night while driving, and reading in dim light. I didn't find anything specific to side effects of mobic, but wondered if anyone else here took it and had this problem. Any input is appreciated, I am going to see the eye doctor this week.
Thanks.

Re: Anyone take Mobic and notice vision problems

I've been on it for over a year and have no problems...in fact, my eye doctor lessened the correction in one lens in February from .75 to .50, But considering your age, it may just be that....eyes change in your 40's for even those of us blessed with good vision...

Thanks for the response. Yes, aging is a bit of a B, but considering the alternative... well, let's just say I can live with only being able to drive in the day! ( and feel fortunate about it!)

Re: Anyone take Mobic and notice vision problems

hi,

vision problems could be a side-effect due to high dosage. mobic didn't work for me, so my doct gave me 1000mg of Naproxen, and when i complain to the doc that me eyes gets ichy and reddish, the doc said that's just a side effect. when i asked him to lower the dosage down, i don't have those sysmptoms again.
