I am 34 years old and have been waking up with knee pain almost everynight for about a month now. I do have some discomfort during the day or if I sit for a while, but standing usually helps it. It's not a good knee and I've had therapy on it before because I hit it hard on my desk. T
The pain is so bad at night I have to walk around to stop it. Is that Authritious?
Arthritis in the knee would most likely be characterized by pain, redness around the joint, swelling and stiffness. Activities as simple as walking around can cause flareups.
It is possible you may have Osteoarthritis but you would need to see a physician to diagnose it properly. A simple xray of the knee should show degeneration (unless it's just begining, in which case it may show up fine). You could also have something more going on such as cartilage damage. I would seek out a physician for further testing.
