Peppermint Oil for pain?

Has anyone ever tried rubbing 100% peppermint oil on their hands/knees for arthritis pain? I was spraying some under my cabinets last night as a natural mouse repellent and some got on my hands and I didn't wash it all off. After about 10 minutes, my hands felt all tingly and warm and rejuvinated. So that got me thinking....... maybe if I rub it in good, just a little bit, it may make the major stiffness go away too.

Has anyone ever tried this??

THANKS!
