Hi im new here & didnt know where to put this so i hope im in the right spot
I sought this group out because my family & friends dont understand what im feeling & i need ppl who do

Im 36 & am diabetic, with a heart murmur, mitral valve prolapse.. 2 yrs ago I kept telling my dr my hands & wrists were killing me she shrugged it all off... I did the icy hot capsaisin ect & was using advil like they were going outta style
My sugars were also running high but she wasnt adjusting my insulin nor sending me for periodic blood tests... finally I got fed up & found a new dr

This dr took me serious & did blood work, adjusted my insulin & added byetta & added lisinopril to the ispotin i was already taking... Blood results came back that rf was positive & my sed rate was slightly elevated (27) he started prednisone which u know made my sugars crazy, he kept checking my blood work but sed kept rising so he sent me to a rheumatoligist... they added in the plaquenil, didnt make any diffrence... they then started the methotrexate & omg i thought i was gonna die

diahrea & vomiting & stomache spasms, bleeding from rectum.... they stopped that real quick said i cant take it, so they started enbrel (still taking plaquenil & prednisone) sed rate went from 60 back to 27 but pain is still unbearable

dr started giving me vicodin 7.5/750 but wasnt helping he upped it to 10, when that hasnt helped much he put me on percoect & him & my RA dr are now sending me end of moth to a pain clinic

Its so much more now then just hands & wrists, my shoulders & knees hurt but the worst is my back.... I cant stand or walk more than a few minutes without intense pain, pain has gotten so bad a few times feels like my knees turn to jelly & ive fallen, I cant bare this I feel so bad I cant take my daughter shopping park ect

Trying to get a scooter approved from medicare but u know how that is

Worst part is I think stress makes it all worse, I finally told my husband to leave after I found out about his affairs (i did try marriage counceling with him but he wouldnt stop the affairs & the lies) he stopped paying mortgage let house go in foreclosure & refuses to pay child support, with all this going on is when I noticed my sed rate went up to 60

anyway sry for long post & dont mean to moan & groan I just needed to talk

hi i am new here too. sorry to hear about all your troubles but i was just wondering whether you have any xrays, mri etc?? your problems sound like mine and i recently was diagnosed with seronegative spondyloarthropathy (similar to ankylosing spondyolitis) and i had many of the same complaints (high esr and crp, extreme back pain, muscle pain, joint problems - knees, ankles, hips, hands etc etc. it took me ages (2+ years) to get a diagnosis and when they did xrays my spine, ribs etc were very badly affected with arthritis which caused all my other problems (too many to list). anyway just a thought.
