I have had surgery for the problem using a tendon as the joint replacement.
My question is about the recovery time for use of the hand without pain.
I am a golfer and would like to have an idea about when I can start playing again.
I am 65 and in good health.

Well, I don't really know for sure, but I went to a hand surgeon for this same problem and she told me it would be a three month recovery. How long ago did you have surgery?
