Re: when is the best time to take prednisone?

Hi, from what I've been told and read, it's best taken in the morning because there's less chance it will suppress your adrenal glands; however, if you've been given instructions to take it more than once per day, you should probably follow those instructions. If it's only once per day, take it in the morning. That's what i've always been told, anyway.

Unless directed otherwise, take it ALL in the morning because it will make you stay wide awake at night. Also be sure to eat something with it because it will make your tummy hurt if you don't.
