Hello new here i had sub.decompressin shouler surgery done 3 weeks ago and i still can not move my arm and i am in constant pain and sleeping about 2 hours a night due to the pain and pins and needles that shoot down my arm i hurt it last may i had an mri done and was told by the pa that read the mri that said it was blurry and hard to read then said i twissted the tendon and had two shots and went to pt well the shots ran there course and the pain came back went back to the doctor and the same pa told me i had a tear in the tendon i asked him why didnt he tell me that when i first went there he didnt remember seeing me any way set an appointment to see the surgeon went there the surgeon told the tendon wasnt torn that i had arthritis and set a date for surgery well i had it done and i can tell you i am in more pain now than what i was in before i went for the follow up with the surgeon and he seemed to care more about the scaring then the pain i was in i told him i could not move my arm and it hurt like hell and was still all swelled up he told not to worry about it and gave me a perscription for more percs. i started pt but due to not being able to move my arm without extrem pain all they did was the electrode stim. the second week of pt i was still in the same amount of pain but started to get worse i can not put on a shirt without my arm locking up and have tears in my eyes they sent me to the emergency room because i could not get in to see the surgeon because he didnt have any openings so they told me to come in on the 3oth now i had surgery on august 19th and they are telling me to come in on september 30th hello so anyway the doctor at the er said told me i was in the first stage of my shoulder freezing up and he was sending the surgeon an email to get me in asap herd no word from the surgeon went to my next pt and told them what was going on and they sent the surgeon an email demanding that i get in there asap well the surgeon got me in there the next day i think he was mad but by this time i was mad as hell and in so much pain i told him what was going on and he honestly said yeah you are in alot of pain and have alot of restriction of movement in my arm and said i think it will get better with time and gave me another prescriptin for more percs. now i see why people get hooked on pain killers cause drs. push them on you and dont answer your ?s he wont even say if i am getting a frozen shoulder i was told i shouldve been able to move my arm 3 - 4 days after this so called simple opperation i know people that have torn there rotator cuffs and not have as much complications as i am i dont know how much more of this pain and not being able to sleep i can take before i go in that drs. office and freak out has anyone ever had this problem before is it normal because i am starting to think this dr. messed up my arm more than what it was before i had this surgery
