cortisone shots in wrists
Anyone have cortisone shots in wrists. Did they help?? My husband has arthritis wrists and is really in misery. Would do anything to stop the pain. Thanks

Hi,

Yes I have had shots in both my wrists and it certainly does help. Has your hubby got wrist splints? They are excellent for resting the wrist. When mine ache badly I put the splints on and they feel comfortable immediately, I wouldnt be without them! Hope he feels better soon

Thanks, Ronnie, for your reply. Curious if you went to an arthritis doctor or did your primary care doctor do the shots. We have been to doctor twice. First time he was prescribed naproxen, next time he was told to take Tylenol with the naproxen. We go in today and I am going to push for the cortisone shots. I also read that the hydrocortisone(cortef) tablets might help.
