locked index finger
Occasionally over the past few weeks my index finger on my right hand locks into place and draws the muscle up my arm to my elbow causing cramping pain that continues until I take my other hand and open the finger back up and hold it open with my other hand. This has occured more recently. It is much like a leg cramp. I also have a nodule on my other index finger and on my shoulder.

Does not sound fun.
Have u been diagnosed with any type of artritis?
I have not had anthing lock but one of my
index fingers sometimes will just stay curled
up and stiff if I try to open it. Maybe try ice
or heat?? Sometimes the simplest things can
help sometimes.

my finger will do it especially in the mornings,dr says it is trigger finger and requires surgery.I dont know if that is what is wrong with yours,something to get checked though.
