Shucks. My doc keeps saying I have to go on either Actemra or Rituxan but with the Actemra my monthly co-pay would be $500. The stuff is too damn expensive!
If these big pharmas spent a little less on marketing it could be more accessible, but we all know - it's about the bottom line and the CEO bonuses.
And if insurance companies would lighten up and consider these drugs as preventive medicine - perhaps avoiding multiple joint surgeries? ... but that's a whole 'nuther can of worms.
