I have gout.
It comes and goes.
For me it's being overweight and drinking beer.
I'll go 2 years without gout then it will attack
in the middle of the night.
Knees, Big toe, Ankle.
For me I would eat tart cherries, parsely, carrots
celery and then drink a gallon of bottled water
right after. Through urination the excess puric acid
would be excreted and in just 5 hours the gout would be 75% gone.
It comes and goes fast.
ETA: What really helps for me to stop the pain
is get a plastic tub/basin about 6 inches tall
and 2 feet wide.Then put ice in a ziplock bag
and place your foot and the icepack in the tub.
I only do this for 20 min but stops the pain right away.
