spring has always been the worse time for my asthma. i got put on singulair in feb and so far since then i rarely suffer with very tight and hard to breath chest. on the days i do have a problem singulair seems to bring the flem up so it is in my throat rather than stuck in my lungs all day. i was told this only helps if your asthma is allergy based. i was wondering have other people had similar help from singulair?

I tried Singulair and it didn't do enough for me. I switched to Flovent and that worked well. My doc just gave me samples of Advair to try because it's not as many doses. I like it so far.

My husband uses Singulair and he is very happy with it. He also has seen an increase in mucus being readily brought up with the tablets.

I am on singulair right now, and am experiencing the same sensation as u Rosilita..... Except that I am feeling the phlegm everyday so far since i started taking the course again a week ago. Anyone else having this sensation too? Anyone knows how to get rid of the phlegm "gut" feeling? The only time it goes away is when i lie down, and rest. My doc has not told me any of the side effects or what Singulair actually does, so I am wondering if the everday phlegm sensation is normal?
