can anyone tell me a list of signs or symtoms of Asthma? I've been expericening difficulity breathing and chest tighting and a slight rattling on my chest. thanks

symptoms of asthma can be different for everyone, my kids get wheezing, constant cough and flemy sounding breathing. Have you been sick recently? my kids usually experience asthma problems after or during illness. It also sounds like maybe pneumonia. are you coughing stuff up?

asthma's totally different for everyone, I've had asthma for yearsandyears and only started rattling and wheezing the last couple of years. I used to cough and bark hoarsely, and get burning chest pains.

Wrin, you may have GERD, I have it real bad, ulcers all over my stomach and duodenal and I get this intense burning in my chest too and it feels like a heart attack and my GI doctor said that is the acid up in your chest. I also have ulcers and all that around the sphincter muscle of my lower Esophagus from the acid splashing up. And GERD can cause and mimick Asthma and that may be why I am having Asthma cause the acid gets aspirated into the lungs. Just wondering if you doctor has said anything about it being Acid Reflux

No, he never said anything about GERD mostly because what he gave me for asthma made it go away and it was mostly precipitated by exercise and had little to no correlation with sleep and eating.
