i get a tight chest...but i also have meniere's disease....(which is an inner ear disorder....so i'm dizzy from that)...but the strain that happens from all of the irregualar breathing while running (quickened breathing...makes sense...your body needs more oxygen to function while running)...i also get soar too...like there are scratches in my throat down to my lungs...and it hurts.... i think it's because the tissue gets irritated and begins to get inflamed, and then i begin to cough, and i feel mucus build up...and if im not careful, i'll go into an attack...so in other words...you just have to recognise your signs of an attack more than ANYTHING!
so i try to use my inhaler every time before i run or anything as preventive...but that has been recomended my my allergist.
but yes...i do know what you are talking about, and sadly, i think it's just one of those things asthmatics have to learn to deal with...i've always had to be cautious....but if it bothers you enough, talk to your doc!!
