Post asthma, acid reflux & DRY HEAVES

HELP! I am very worried about my husband. He was diagnosed with Ashthma & Acid relux about a year ago.
Currently he is taking: Omerprazole, Singular, Clarinex, Flonase, Advair and Albuterol, and has been getting allergy shots. For several months, off and on he will get the dry heaves- especially in the morning. 1. Does anyone have an idea of what is going on? 2. Do you think he is overmedicated? 3. Should he do anything- the doctors don't seem to be concerned?
Thank you so much for any direction you can give. Whispersofnature

Keep in touch....I'm very interested to see if your husband could possibly be sensitive to chlorinated tap water as my two children are..... Maybe he can stop coughing just as my kids did. Just replace his drinking of tap water with bottled water to see if there is improvement.
