singulair dosage - Asthma Message Board

hi, i am new to this board, but would like some input on singulair. my doctor placed me on it about 9 months ago and my asthma has improved dramatically. she put me on two 10mg. pills a day and all the info i read says the dosage should just be once a day. does anyone else take this much? also, has anyone heard of singulair being linked to weight gain? thanks for the input.

You're right, 20mg of Singulair a day sounds a bit excessive. You might want to call her back and ask about it. I haven't heard of Singulair being linked to weight gain, but I suppose it's possible.
