Flu Shot
If we have asthma are we suppose to get the flu shot?

I have never had a flu shot. I have always had asthma but I seemed to have outgrown in about 8yrs ago. As of Wednesday I was dx as having asthma again.

Yup... asthma counts as a lung condition, and the flu shot is recommended for the very young, the elderly, people with reduced immune system function, and people with heart or lung conditions. So you are on that special list of people who get to move to the front of the line and get their shots (at least you should be, unless the government restricts it even more...). I got mine from my allergist last week.

yep. you are. I got mine this morning, took me 7hrs but I got it. LOL!

definately get it as long as you aren't allergic to eggs! I also think I'm going to get the pneumovax this year too.
