| Re: What are some Asthma induced foods?
There is the peanut allergy that is pretty severe. I have a friend that cannot even be in the vicinity of them! I know someone else who has a severe allergy to raw vegetables (of all things!). Her throat closes up. But she is on shots and is now able to eat a little lettuce. This is very rare, I think! There are food sensitivities, I believe, that people can have. For instance, I have an allergy to wheat. When I eat it I don't have an outright attack, but I don't feel well, and I have more mucus in my throat. But don't expect the doctors to test you for it - acccording to them you have to have swelling or itching around the mouth or in the mouth to have an allergy. But to me, if I have more mucus or coughing or have to clear my throat a lot after I eat a certain food, that is a type of allergy!
