"MOLD so concerned help feel so sick"

Guys I am desperate I dont know what to do, I had my air ducts changed, a/c handler and a new a/c unit
and they were full of mold, but I am still sick

I am fine as long as I am not home as soon as I walk in here the top of my head starts to tingle and i get a bad headache and dizziness, I dont know what to do i was going to rent an ozone machine because there must be mold in the air, i am a bit scared that this can get me very ill, since I thought that once the moldy ducts were out of here that I would be fine? I rented an ozone machine an dit didnt do much, and I also have an air cleaner running all day, I am at my wits end, and the funny thing is that I am the only one in the house having these symeptoms, my husband an dkids are fine,

I have develped severe asthma also, and now my husband belives me when i tell him i am sick but he feels like it will go away, i am a bit concerned can this modl peneterate your brain? man this is so scary let me know what tests I can get done to make sure I dont have this in my system, I mean when I am home I feel sick, but when I am out I am fine, so I am sure the problem lays in this house, let me know what kind of tests you guys know about i am at my wits end with this, Thanks

Re: "MOLD so concerned help feel so sick"

Perhaps it isn't a mold issue. Could there be soomething else in your house that's causing this? What are your other allergies? and it will take a while to clear the mold out of the house. Just changing the equipment isn't enough. Did you wash everything - drapes, rugs, etc? Did you wipe down the walls and blinds? Clean the carpets? The mold can get in all of them....

Sometimes when you clean the air ducts it stirs the mold into the air and it can take a little while for it to settle down. Have you considered an air purifier?

Re: "MOLD so concerned help feel so sick"

My husband uses vitamin C plus niacin for asthma and a teenage friend of our sons uses the same combo except he uses niacinamide instead of niacin for mold allergies, but his allergies are not as bad as yours. If you want to try it to see if it helps you, try taking 500 mg of niacinamide plus 3-5 grams, yes grams, of vitamin C two or three times a day. You should be able to see if it is helping within a day or two. You can't just take vitamin C or just niacinamide. My husband and the teenager have both found that it only works if you take both.

If it helps but not enough then you can increase the amount but you might want to switch to the inositol form of niacin, which is more expensive than niacinamide, but it is also no flush, because with niacinamide you might experience nausea at higher doses, but not with the inositol form, which you can get at any health food store.
