So I've had bronchitis/chest infections 6 times in the past 9 months. I've been on everything from ventolin to prednisone. I would get rid of the bronchitis and then quit taking medications of any kinds, then get sick again take meds, and repeat the process.

A month ago I decided I was sick of this. I decided I wanted to run competitively again (asthma was restricting my physical activity).

This time, when I got rid of my chest infection, I kept with the advair. Then when my lung function improved enough, I hit the gym last week.

I'm mixing running and walking so I don't have any asthma attacks. And I'm biking in between the running days.

I've seen so much improvement in the past week and I'm so excited! I've got a little bit of a dry cough still, but the main problem I face now is lack of muscle to run with!

2 weeks ago I had an asthma attack from pulling a truck for charity (with a team of people of course).

Yesterday I play 70 minutes of soccer very hard, sprinting up and down the field the whole time, and being a very effective player for the team, and felt great (aside for wanting to puke because I ran too much).

So, I just wanted to say how much running has made me feel better, and has made my asthma a whole lot better! Good luck to everyone else!!
