I had something to make my asthma flare it started last night and into today.I felt short of breath tightness in chest I used my abuterol it helped.But i'm coughing like crazy during sleep and while i'm awake.Could I need another treatment or nothing to worry about.Plus i've took my singular for bedtime.Should i take another abuterol treatment for the irritating coughing?

I had the same problem this past weekend. I was cleaning out my closet that was very dusty. Big mistake, forgot to use the inhaler first. Dust always knocks my breathing out of wack and I will cough for two or three days like crazy. I just use my Proventil (albuterol), 2 puffs every 4-6 hours until I get it back under control. As long as I feel I am not gasping for air, the coughing usally stops once I have gotten the allergens out of my lungs and nose. I also rinse my nose out 2-3 times a day with Ocean saline nasal spray.

Did you also cough up yellowish mucous to.That's what i had coming up with the coughing.Should i be alarmed or nothing to worry about.I woke up this morning felt fine soon as i was in the store i was short of breath once again and started coughing.

Maybe you caught a cold or something. Your mucos is yellow? I'd say wait a few days, then go to the doc...could be an infection.

Yellow phelgm may be a infection. If the phelgm turns green then see your doctor for some antibiotics.
