Are you having a tight feeling when you breathe? Kind of like when you have a lung infection and can't get a good breath of air? If so, then it for sure could be asthma but only a Dr can tell you so, go see a Dr asap. You can have asthma symptoms any time of the of the day. They do seem to be bad for most epopel in the early morning and late at night. I read that mold spores get active or something (spawn or something? can't remember) anyway, around 3AM to about 5AM and it can blow through your heating and cooling system and right down your lungs. A lot of people who wake up with symptoms in the night around these house is for this reason and a lot of people don't even know why. But that's what I read. I just turn my cooling system off right before I go to bed and put my air purifier right by the bed on high to kind of cool the room and clean the air too. That so far ahs helped me a little. But I let me dog sleep in my room the other night and I couldn't cathc my breath for over 13 hours the next day! BAD idea! It's just weird to adjust. My dog has always slept by me, I've been around dust, chemicals, etc., with no problems.. But suddenly now I am sensitive to everything.
Go to a Doctor to get your answer for sure because from what you have wrote it may or may not be so only a dr. will be able to tell you. Do you have insurance or money to cover a Dr visit?
