FISH05

Hi,

I had asthma when I was 2 I had to take med. I eventually outgrew it. Well when I was a teenager I started smoking ((bad!!!). I am not a heavy smoker I may smoke 5-8 cigs a day. I seem to always bronchitis after a cold. One time I had to get a treatment. Ever since then I noticed I wheeze sometimes if I laugh alot, cough, or after excercising. I don't know if I am allegic to anything but I do have eczema on my face and arms. I heard they kind of go with asthma.

Anyway I got a cold about three weeks ago. I assume it turn it to bronchitis because I wake up every morning with chest tightness and a cough. I never went to the Dr. I am going to go to one. I want to know if they can tell if it asthma or bronchitis. They pretty much have the same symptoms. Will a regular physcian be able to diaognis (sp?) me? Or should I go to a specialist. I have been trying to go to a pulomlogist (sp?) and they don't have any appointment until Dec/Jan. I guess now is a popular time to go. I was thinking about going to a urgent care place. I Any thoughts?
