Asthma

My asthma has been acting very strange latley and I am wondering if it is normal. I have small asthma attacks with cough wheeze and tightness. The wheeze and tightness goes away with my rescue inhaler but not the cough. It is dry and lingers I can't seem to shake it. I was wondering if it is connected to the heat It is like 105 here, and the heaviness of the air is making it even more difficult to breath. I was also wondering what I should do. The doctor is on vacation for the next two weeks and I have no clue what to do. I want to feel better so badly. Also we don't have air conditioning so that isn't an option sorry. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
