I have a cough right now, it's irritating in my throat but it's a chesty cough I can feel it in my lungs and I produce a bit of muscus. Taking my reliever inhaler makes it go away for a few hours but it comes back. When I cough it hurts my chest muscles

My question is, is taking my inhaler to make it go away a bad thing? Do I need to tell my doctor this cough? I'm confused :S

Re: Cough

I would contact my doctor and tell him what's going on. Colds can exacerbate your asthma so it needs to be checked. Better safe than sorry.
Feel better,
