my daughter has asthma and has been diagnosed since she was about 3. She is now 9 and several times a year we have this problem. She gets a little trickle of nasal drip and within 24 hours she is coughing a little then within 48 she is coughing really bad and has a dry cough. She has a deep wheeze when she breathes but thank the good Lord she doesnt have trouble breathing. Has anyone else had similar problems and what do you use or do to control the cough. She is having a lot of problems late at night and early morning....I dont like the narcotic cough syrups so we use a littel honey lemon and whiskey which usually works but nothing is helping the past 24 hours.....her dr says she needs to rest and not do anything physical for 2 weeks which is hard on her and everyone else as well. zI may need to post to the insanity board before the time is up....lol.....any suggestions would be greatly appreciated....Thanks toots
