When she gets the first indication (nasal drip or whatever), you should have a plan from your pulmonologist as to what to do. My plan says to up my daily asthma med (I add one puff of Flovent to my regular regimen) until I am over the situation. if oyu don't have one, ask her pumonologist for a written plan for when she gets sick, has an attack, etc. I never have to call mine any more because I know what to do and it takes care of it.
