Trouble taking deep breathes/yawning

I do not have asthma but I didn't know what thread to put this in. The past 2 days I have been having trouble taking deep breathes and yawning. I can breathe normal fine but usually when I take a deep breathe I get that relief feeling but now it feels as though when I take a deep breathe I have something restraining me from doing so. I have the same problem with yawning. I usually yawn 4-5 times straight when I'm about to go to bed because it gets me tired but if I'm lucky I can get one yawn out in 5-10 minutes while 2-3 days ago I could get 7 yawns out in a minute. Sometimes I will feel so uncomfortable due to the face I can't get deep breathe out I will try over and over and I will begin to get dizzy.

I have changed a few things the past 2 days that could possibly be causing it but I'm not sure. For one, I have been drinking a protein shake in the morning and doing 3 sets of pushups, 3 times throughout the day. Maybe that is a possible cause for this but I can't be sure. I have doctors appointment set but it's not for another week so I thought I would try to get some input before hand.
