Dry air at work

All winter long I have a problem with the air being too dry at work. It dries out my sinuses and aggravates my asthma.

There area is pretty open so I don't think a humidifier will work.

I do nasal rinsing, but that only helps for about 30 mins.

Any suggestions?

Try a saline spray like Ayr periodically during the day. You could also try putting a little vaseline or the Ayr gel just inside each nostril.

Re: Dry air at work

Thank you. I will. The bigger problem I have is the dry air aggravating my asthma. I seem to have a dry cough all day.

Any suggestions about that?

Re: Dry air at work

Whatever your asthma action plan says for upping things one level. In my case it would be to add a puff of Flovent in the AM. What does yours say for yellow level? Maybe a pull or two of albuterol?
